... Read moreCheesesteak egg rolls are a creative twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich and make for a crowd-pleasing appetizer at any party. The combination of tender, seasoned steak-umm slices with sautéed bell peppers and onions wrapped in a crispy egg roll wrapper offers a delightful balance of flavors and textures. Using white American cheese adds a creamy richness that melts perfectly inside the rolls. To get the best results, make sure the filling is not too wet before wrapping; this helps prevent soggy egg rolls. Wrapping tightly and sealing properly with water ensures they hold their shape during frying. Fry the egg rolls at a consistent 350°F until they develop a beautiful golden brown crust, which gives a delicious crunch. The chipotle dipping sauce brings a smoky, spicy kick that complements the savory filling wonderfully. Combining mayonnaise with chipotle powder, smoked paprika, garlic, and onion powder creates a creamy yet flavorful sauce that can also double as a spread for sandwiches or a dip for other fried snacks. For variations, try adding sautéed mushrooms or switching to provolone cheese for a different flavor profile. Baking the egg rolls at 400°F for 12-15 minutes is a healthier alternative that still delivers crispy results if you prefer to avoid frying. These cheesesteak egg rolls are versatile, easy to prepare, and always a hit at get-togethers. Pair them with a cold beverage or your favorite cocktail to enjoy an authentic, indulgent appetizer experience in the comfort of your home.
