Day 16 of 75 Hard with a 9-5 #75Hard #fitnessjourney
Taking on the 75 Hard challenge while maintaining a traditional 9-5 job is definitely a test of commitment and time management. From my own experience, the key is structuring your day around your workouts and nutrition consistently. Since the challenge requires two workouts a day and strict dietary rules such as eating in a deficit, planning ahead becomes crucial. For example, I usually schedule my first workout in the morning before work to kickstart the day, which energizes me and sets a productive tone. The second workout often fits into the evening after work, either at the gym or through home workouts that save commuting time. It’s important to keep these sessions manageable but effective, to avoid burnout. Including 10 pages of daily reading from non-fiction or self-improvement books also adds a meaningful mental growth element, which I've found complements the physical discipline. Meal prepping in advance helps maintain the required deficit without sacrificing nutrition or energy. I recommend focusing on whole foods with a balance of protein, healthy fats, and complex carbs. Tracking progress visually, like through photos or notes, is motivating on tough days. Overall, this challenge is not just fitness but also about building mental resilience. If you're working a 9-5 like me, prioritizing self-care and sticking to your goals with flexibility and patience is essential for lasting success.
