#HandlewithCare Mug Shot 112 of 365 📖 ☕️
🥱 Morning friends!
I stumbled into bed around 130am this morning and today, I've poured myself a cup of ambition! (Or 2. 😉)
The Don't Care 🖤 Cakes are baked and cooling, J's chicken fajitas are on the pan and ready to be cooked off for lunch while I'm out and about. Kitchen cleaned. Now it's off to The Spire for a sound equipment check before a wedding next month, and then back to visit the crew at Giant Tiger before home to finish my niece's cake!
(Then a bride & groom meeting tonight. And BN work. This is how it goes!)
I love love love being busy. Just love it. Managing my time, my eating, my baking, my workouts, my creative outlets, time with friends. And all of the wonderful couples ready to say "I Do!" in the coming months. 🫶
Also - a huge shout-out to all the amazing Kingstonians who paused and chatted with me yesterday while I painted the window. Thank you for reading these mug shots, saying hello, and reminding me that there is a big ol' world out there full of incredible people.
Today, I read: ❝𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘰 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥.❞
It's so simple.
And my career is literally built on this concept.
Maybe I played the song while you walked down the aisle to your best friend.
Maybe I baked you a cake.
Maybe I cooked you dinner.
Maybe I painted your window so joy could stream into your space.
Whatever I'm doing, wherever I'm going - and same for you - carry yourself with stardust in your veins and love in your soul. Let people know they're loved.

Balancing a busy lifestyle like the one described often involves more than just scheduling tasks—it’s about infusing passion into every moment. From my personal experience, starting the day early with a clear plan helps me stay productive and mindful. Just like baking cakes and preparing meals ahead of time, prepping small steps of your daily goals can ease larger burdens. When it comes to events like weddings, the atmosphere is filled with love and anticipation, which can be incredibly inspiring but also overwhelming. I’ve found that taking a few moments to connect personally with the people you’re working with or serving—whether it’s chatting with guests or customers—adds a fulfilling human touch that amplifies the impact of your work. This day’s reflection about "letting people know they’re loved" resonated deeply with me. Simple acts such as creating personalized cakes, playing meaningful music, or even painting joyful designs in a window, enhance everyday experiences and create lasting memories. Incorporating these acts of kindness into our daily routines can transform both our own outlook and those around us. Lastly, keeping your health and wellness in check during a hectic schedule is essential. Managing meals, fitting in workouts, and nurturing creative outlets provide balance and keep your energy sustained. For anyone feeling overwhelmed, remember that passion combined with purposeful time management can make even the busiest days fulfilling and joyful. Remember to sprinkle your days with stardust and love—just like the author suggests—because those intangible elements are often what turn ordinary days into extraordinary ones.
