easy, cheesy & SO addictive 👌🏻
If you're looking for a fun and effortless appetizer or dinner idea, these sheet pan taco cups are a game-changer. I first tried making them on a casual weekend, and the combination of crispy Tostitos Scoops loaded with savory ground beef and a blend of cheeses was instantly a hit. One of the best things about this recipe is its versatility. You can easily customize your taco cups by swapping out the Colby Jack and mozzarella for any cheese you have on hand—cheddar, pepper jack, or even a Mexican cheese blend work beautifully. Adding cream cheese or sour cream to the beef mixture enhances the creaminess, which balances the crispy texture of the chips wonderfully. For those who love a bit of heat, jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce can be added either inside before baking or as a topping after. Fresh garnishes like chopped cilantro and green onions elevate the flavors and add a nice color contrast. Serving them with sides of salsa, guacamole, and sour cream creates a mini taco bar experience that guests love. I also appreciate how quick these taco cups are to prepare. From browning the beef to baking the cups with cheese takes less than 20 minutes, making it an ideal recipe for busy weeknights or last-minute gatherings. Plus, the sheet pan format means easy cleanup, which is always a bonus. If you want to make these even more festive, consider adding some black beans or corn to the beef mixture for extra texture and nutrients. These taco cups are not only delicious but also a crowd-pleaser that’s guaranteed to disappear fast at parties!
