Day 18 – Strength to Keep Trusting

In my personal journey, there have been many moments when life seemed confusing and unpredictable. The message of trusting God—even when the timing feels off or when a door closes unexpectedly—resonates deeply. I learned that the real challenge is not in understanding every detail but in surrendering control and believing that a higher plan exists. This trust is like a muscle that strengthens over time. Initially, it can be difficult to rely on faith alone, but reflecting on Proverbs 3:5-6 reminded me to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Applying this scripture taught me to stop trying to force outcomes or solve everything myself. Instead, I focused on staying present and open, even when the path was not visible. It meant embracing uncertainty with courage and faith, knowing that setbacks and closed doors are often redirections rather than failures. If you’re struggling to trust during challenging times, consider small daily practices like prayer, meditation, or journaling your thoughts and fears. These habits help center your mind and strengthen your trust muscle. Remember, God’s timing isn’t the same as ours, and sometimes waiting is part of the journey. Ultimately, leaning into trust provides a source of peace and resilience, empowering us to face life's unknowns with confidence. You’re never truly alone; even when we can't see the way, He’s still holding it for us.
