How I set up my laptop for a summer semester!

Ok first things first, if you’re gonna be motivated to study this summer and take classes when you could be at the pool, then you want to make sure you stay super organized so that you don’t waste any of your time! The most important thing that saves me time studying during the summer is having my classes organized and my digital life cleaned up and ready to go. I use Google Drive to keep all of my classwork tidy and efficient. Create a folders system like this for each summer class

├── 📘 Class - [Course Name or Code]

├── 📂 Lectures & Notes

├── 📂 Assignments

├── 📂 Readings / PDFs

├── 📂 Study Guides / Reviews

After I set up my Google Drive folder system, I always feel so much better. It takes a lot of stress away knowing that I am going to have an organization system. Then I like to customize my Canvas. If your school uses Blackboard then I’m so sorry because I don’t know how to make that cute, but I sure DO know how to make Canvas look cute!

You can change the cover photo for your classes to any image you want. I also install chrome extensions for Canvas like ‘Better Canvas’ and ‘Tasks for Canvas’ to customize everything on your canvas home page! Let me know in the comments how you prepare for summer classes!
