3 Ways I Change My Makeup Routine for the Summer ☀️

1 🌴 I think I own more brown eyeliner than black. Coming from a black haired girl, I think that may really say something about how brown eyeliner can create the most beautiful, subtle looks without being too harsh on the face. I was skeptical about trying brown mascara but it’s almost like it makes your lashes longer without looking like obvious heavy mascara. What you see above is the combination I’ve been using every day!

2 🌴 I love letting my skin breathe and just using concealer to cover up any problem areas and a little under my eyes. Not only is it better for the skin but it also somehow tends to look better in the long run, especially if you live in a hot and humid place like I do. This is just what works best for me 😊

3 🌴 Everyone wants that perfect summer glow and I’ve found a few very light products that blend into the skin (or lips), giving the glow ever so subtly. I’ve listed the products above and am always on the lookout for more!

One popular trend is using brown eyeliners and mascaras instead of harsher black variants, which can enhance your natural features without overwhelming your face. Many beauty experts emphasize the importance of opting for lighter products, such as a sheer concealer to even out skin tone while allowing the skin to breathe. Brands like Clinique and NARS have created lightweight formulas that are perfect for summer wear, ensuring your makeup doesn't cake in the heat. Achieving a summer glow can also be accomplished with the right illuminating products. Highlighters and lip balms with added radiance, such as those from Seraphine Botanicals or YSL, can add a subtle sheen to your skin and lips, allowing you to embrace a fresh-faced look. For those looking for a quicker solution, consider lightweight tinted moisturizers instead of heavy foundations. This will not only keep your skin feeling light but will also blend seamlessly, offering a natural finish suitable for warm weather. Whether you’re heading out for a beach day or a summer evening event, tailoring your products to fit the season can make a significant difference in your overall look and feel. Explore these tips and experiment with various summer-inspired makeup looks that keep up with the sunny days ahead!
