• ¾ cup heavy cream or whole milk
• 2 cloves garlic (optional)
• ½ cup sour cream (optional for extra creaminess)
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• Fresh parsley for garnish

Place cubed potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold salted water.
