As Ramadan enters its last ten days, it's a special time filled with reflection, increased worship, and personal growth. From my experience, these days bring a unique blend of tiredness and spiritual rejuvenation as I try to balance fasting with daily responsibilities. During these days, I find that having familiar and comforting routines really helps. For instance, using trusted skincare brands like Caudalie and Palmer’s not only keeps me refreshed but also gives me small moments of self-care amidst busy fasting days. These moments can be incredibly grounding. I also try to make time for Qur'an journaling, inspired by the 90 prompts mentioned in my routine, which helps deepen my understanding and connection with the holy text. Reading the Qur’an with a phrase-by-phrase English translation adds clarity and allows me to reflect more meaningfully. Another part of my routine is enjoying light, mindful meals like Mexican-style dishes and favorite snacks such as Reese’s or peanut butter cookie dough, which provide much-needed energy for the day while keeping me motivated without compromising my fast. Beyond nourishment, exercising moderately, as I sometimes do at LA/Fitness or a gentle walk, boosts my energy and keeps my spirits high. It’s important to listen to your body during this time. Overall, the last 10 days of Ramadan feel like a precious gift—an opportunity to renew faith, practice gratitude, and prepare for Eid with a refreshed heart and mind. Embracing these days fully, including the use of familiar products and rituals, makes the journey deeply rewarding.
