I love how it keeps my hair off my face and neck, making it perfect for busy days or those moments when I just want to feel put together without spending a lot of time. To achieve this style, I usually start by gathering my locs as if I were making a regular bun, but then I flip it upside down, positioning the bun near the nape of my neck rather than the crown of my head. This not only gives a fresh twist to a classic bun but also adds some volume and interest to the look. The style works great on all loc sizes and lengths, making it versatile for anyone. What I appreciate most is that the upside down loc bun is very forgiving. Even if your locs aren’t perfectly styled or neatly pinned, the bun still looks effortlessly cool or 'lazy chic,' as I like to call it.
