WIEIAD as a girly whos lost 20 lbs🧸🎀
Here is what a day of eating looks like for me! I make sure to allow myself to switch things up daily, try new snacks, and satisfy my cravings (in moderation!).
The BIGGEST thing you need to remember when dieting and changing your lifestyle for weightloss and health, is that you cannot control your food, or it will start to control you. There is a difference between being disciplined and healthy and being overly strict and unhappy. Find your balance and stay strong!
A key component in my weightloss was daily intermittent fasting. I personally switch between 16 and 18 hours of fasting every other day. I recommend using / checking out @Litely if you are interested in trying or starting IF! This app has wonderful fasting trackers, weight and water trackers and graphs showing your progress and trends! There is also an AI coach that answers any and all questions and provides meal plans and fasting advice. It has really helped me and I highly recommend it😊
I would love to post breakfast or dinner ideas for you guys that have really helped keep me full, hit my protein and calorie goals & are DELICIOUS! Let me know if you are interested 🎀

Navigating the world of weight loss can feel overwhelming, especially with so much information online, some of which can unfortunately lean into what’s often called “toxic diet motivation” or even mimic “edtwt food” culture. I've been there, feeling the pressure to follow extreme rules and feeling guilty about every bite. But after losing 20lbs, I've learned that true, sustainable progress comes from a place of balance and self-compassion, not punitive restriction. It’s crucial to recognize the signs of a toxic mindset when it comes to eating. If you find yourself constantly battling hunger, experiencing intense guilt after eating certain foods, or feeling like food controls your life rather than fueling it, those are red flags. My journey taught me that punishing myself with food never led to lasting results, only unhappiness. Instead, I focused on making mindful choices, ensuring my meals were nourishing and satisfying, like my favorite “avocado toast & poached egg” to break my fast, which provides healthy fats and protein to keep me full. Finding food freedom means understanding that it's okay to enjoy all foods in moderation. For instance, rather than completely cutting out treats, I learned to incorporate them mindfully. Having a "KIND KIDS bar" as a snack or even enjoying some "chicken nugs" occasionally isn't going to derail your progress if your overall diet is balanced. It’s about creating a lifestyle you can stick with long-term, one that supports both your physical and mental well-being. My aim was always to "slim & tone" my body in a way that felt good, not restrictive. Hydration also plays a huge role in feeling good and supporting your body. I always make sure to have my "Liquid Energy + Water" throughout the day. It helps with satiety and keeps energy levels up! And when it comes to snacks, I opt for things like chopped “pear pieces dusted with cinnamon” for natural sweetness and fiber, or a "FiberOne Brownie" when I need a chocolate fix, ensuring I hit my fiber goals without feeling deprived. My "oats & pear w/ cinnamon" breakfast is another example of a nutrient-dense, satisfying meal that helps me start the day right. My biggest takeaway is this: ditch the idea that you have to be perfectly strict to see results. Embrace flexibility, listen to your body’s cues, and remember that weight loss is a journey of self-discovery, not self-punishment. Focus on nourishing your body, staying active, and cultivating a positive relationship with food. That's where true, lasting change happens.
