People with smelly farts were actually caused by 〇〇
"I'm worried about the smell of farts recently..."
"I feel worse than before..."
It is a sign of deterioration of the intestinal environment.
The smell of farts will tell you honestly what is going on in the intestines. If it is odorless to slightly smelly, it is a sign of good bacteria dominating healthy intestines. Conversely, if it smells strong or sulfur, it is a sign that bad bacteria are dominating.
1. Growth of bad bacteria
When bad bacteria break down proteins, they produce smelly substances called indole and skatole. This is the true identity of "smelly farts."
Eating too much meat and eggs
When sulfur compounds contained in animal protein are decomposed in the intestine, sulfur odor (smell of rotten eggs) occurs. Be careful if you continue to eat meat.
3. Lack of good bacteria in the intestine
Good bacteria have the function of suppressing decay. If there are few good bacteria, the decay activity of bad bacteria will be uncontrolled and the smell will be strong.
4. Lack of dietary fiber
Good bacteria live on dietary fiber. If you eat a diet with less vegetables, mushrooms, and seaweed, good bacteria will not grow and the intestinal balance will be lost.
5. Chronic constipation
The longer the stool stays in the intestines, the more it decays. Not only odor but also harmful substances increase, which leads to rough skin and fatigue.
6. Processed food and additive-rich diet
It is known that some food additives disrupt the balance of intestinal bacteria. Diet habits centered on convenience stores and instant foods are burdensome to the intestines.
7. Excessive stress
Stress disrupts the peristaltic movement of the intestine, creating an environment where corruption is easy to proceed. The intestine and the brain are closely connected, and the mental state is directly connected to the intestine.
8. History of taking antibiotics
Antibiotics reduce not only bad bacteria but also good bacteria. There are surprisingly many cases where the intestinal environment is disturbed and does not recover after taking it.
9. Lack of sleep
Repair of the intestine is mainly done at night. If sleep is insufficient, the recovery of the intestine cannot keep up and the bacteria balance continues to be chronically lost.
10. Do not take fermented foods
Fermented foods such as yogurt, natto, miso, and nukazuke are direct sources of good bacteria. Just by incorporating one item into your daily diet, your intestinal environment will begin to change.
By the way, the normal range is the number of farts per day from 5 to 20 times. "Smell" is more important as a barometer of the intestinal environment than the number of times. If you start to worry about the smell, first review your diet.
