Healing, Grief and Growth.

I’ve been quiet lately. I’ve been trying to find myself again, not because I wanted to disappear.

Grief changes you. Losing my dad reminded me just how hard it is to keep moving when your heart feels heavy. Right now, I’m in a women’s group therapy that’s been helping me heal , it’s teaching me that I don’t have to carry everything alone.

Healing hasn’t been easy. Some days, I journal, some days, I pray, and other days, I just sit in silence and do nothing…But I’m learning that healing isn’t about going back to who I was before the pain ,it’s about becoming a softer, stronger version of myself.

Grief doesn’t go away, but it changes shape. And every day, I try to be the best I can. 💚

How have you been taking care of your heart lately?

... Read moreGrief is a deeply personal experience that reshapes our lives in profound ways. Joining a women’s group therapy can be an empowering step toward healing because it provides a safe space where shared experiences foster understanding and connection. In these groups, members often find comfort knowing they are not alone in their emotions, and this collective support can be transformative. Many people struggling with loss discover that healing is not a linear process. Some days may feel hopeful and productive, while others might feel overwhelmingly difficult. Journaling thoughts and feelings, engaging in prayer or meditation, and allowing oneself periods of rest or silence are all valid and helpful ways to navigate grief. These methods cultivate self-awareness and promote emotional resilience. It’s also important to recognize that healing doesn’t mean forgetting or moving on from grief entirely. Instead, grief changes shape—it becomes a part of your life story that contributes to inner strength and compassion. For example, transforming pain into advocacy, art, or support for others facing similar losses can provide meaningful purpose and growth. Taking care of your heart after loss involves acknowledging your feelings, seeking support, and giving yourself permission to heal at your own pace. Whether through group therapy, talking with trusted friends, or practicing self-care rituals, building a support network is crucial. Healing is about becoming a softer, stronger version of yourself, embracing vulnerability, and fostering hope for the future. If you’re on a similar journey, consider exploring women’s group healing or therapy talks to connect with others and share your experiences. Remember, healing is an ongoing process and every step forward, no matter how small, is meaningful. What matters most is nurturing your heart and honoring your unique path toward growth and renewal.
