There’s a Method To My Meal Prepping Madness🥙🥗🌯🍳

My meal prep days usually fall between Sunday or Monday. I don’t like meal prepping at all but I have it down to a pretty good science. I’m cutting right now so my food goal is 1900cal/130G protein daily. I’ve always had very unorganized eating, so this has all been a welcomed challenge filled with lots of opportunities to learn myself more. So here’s what I do:

1- Take Inventory

I have a bad habit of overbuying, so now I take inventory of what I have before designing meals and grocery shopping. I scan the items I plan on using into my Macros App at this time too. It’s my favorite tool for tracking my intake and building plans.

2-Build A Plan

I create meal options where protein and flavor are the focus using my macros app. I put each item in my recipes in the app to see the breakdown of calories,fat,carbs,and protein for each serving. And I adjust my meals for the week to hit my daily macro goals. It’s a roadmap that removes the guesswork out of hitting protein goals on the go.

3- Grocery Shop

Well Instacart b/c I don’t have the energy to be in anybody’s grocery store 70% of the time.

4-Meal Prep👩🏾‍🍳

I have my next 7 days of meals meals planned out so this is a breeze. I like cooking when my brain can go on autopilot.

5- Relax and Enjoy knowing I don’t have to figure out what am I eating for the week.
