Body Recomposition: Not a Before, Just a Beginning

This is my starting point.

Not my “before” pic. Not something I’m ashamed of. Just me, right now—soft, strong, and honest.

Body fat: 38.3%

Goal range: 24–26%

I’ve been holding back from sharing my journey publicly because it felt scary to be seen in the in-between. But truthfully, this is the part that matters most. This is where the work is being done—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.

I’m not chasing a smaller version of myself—I’m becoming a stronger, more capable version. One with better habits, deeper self-respect, and a body that reflects how much I care for it.

If you’re on your own journey too, you’re not alone.

Follow along for the real, the wins, and everything in between.

The process of reducing body fat and enhancing muscle definition, as illustrated by the starting body fat percentage of 38.3%, reflects not just physical fitness but also a deep internal transformation. In today’s fitness culture, transparency about one's body can inspire others grappling with their own struggles. The hashtags like #BodyRecompJourney and #HonestFitness signify a community dedicated to supporting each other's growth, celebrating progress regardless of the starting point. Further insights suggest that adopting a holistic approach—incorporating emotional and mental health—leads to sustainable change. Therefore, this journey represents a commitment to self-love, resilience, and continuous improvement, motivating others to embark on their path to fitness with courage.
