Lemon Cream Cheese Dump Cake
Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 can (21 oz.) lemon pie filling
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350* F. Lightly grease a 9” x 13” baking dish with butter or oil. Set it aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix with the melted butter. Stir until the mixture forms coarse crumbs, resembling wet sand. The texture should remain slightly chunky for a perfect crumb topping.
3. Take half of the crumb mixture and evenly spread it over the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Lightly press it down to form a solid base for the cake.
