you have trauma 🫵🏻

... Read moreTrauma is a deeply personal experience that can manifest in many forms, whether from past events, relationships, or unforeseen circumstances. From my own experience, acknowledging trauma is the first and most crucial step toward healing. It isn’t always obvious; sometimes it hides behind emotions like anxiety, anger, or unexplained sadness. What helped me the most was learning to recognize the subtle ways trauma influences daily life—such as difficulty trusting others, sudden emotional reactions, or avoidance of certain situations. Understanding these signs allowed me to be more compassionate with myself instead of feeling ashamed or isolated. I found certain techniques beneficial, including journaling my thoughts to process feelings, practicing mindfulness to stay present, and seeking support from trusted friends or therapists who validate my experiences. Healing isn’t linear, and it requires patience and self-care. Sharing your feelings with others can reduce the burden trauma imposes. Remember that trauma doesn’t define you; it is a part of your story but not the entirety. Each step toward awareness and healing contributes to reclaiming your sense of self and strength.
