Tomatillos
Salt/pepper
Garlic powder / onion powder
Habanero queso:
Habanero peppers
8 oz Oaxaca cheese
8oz Monterrey jack
1/2 cup milk or heavy cream as needed
**You can use white American cheese
Are you ready for a flavor explosion? This recipe combines the heat of habanero peppers with the smoothness of Oaxaca and Monterrey jack cheese, creating a dip that is both spicy and creamy. The salsa verde, made from fresh tomatillos, poblano, serrano, and jalapeño peppers, adds a zesty complement to the dip. Roasting the peppers enhances their flavors remarkably; simply toss them with a bit of oil before blending. To make the salsa verde, blend roasted and raw ingredients for a vibrant and tangy sauce. Ensure you adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder to taste. This dip is versatile—perfect as a party appetizer or a comforting snack. Don't forget, you can substitute heavy cream with milk to attain your desired creaminess! Enjoy this savory dish that promises to be a crowd-pleaser at your next gathering!
