hii zestiess 🍋 !! its been sooo long since i posted, but anyws heres tdys find: Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup at Chjmes !! my friend had been eyeing this place for quite some time, and we finally had the time to head down and try. we went on a Sunday (first mistake) and had planned to hv lunch there (second mistake).
yes, mistakess !! cuz the wait was soooo long… 😮💨
we got the queue number at arnd 12:30PM and had only gotten a seat at 2PM 😭😭 prior to us, there was 20 grps in front of us, we didnt wanna back out since we made time to come LOL

🍲 Collagen Samgyetang
overall not too bad the “collagen” taste was there, but it was a lil bland for someone who likes strong flavours （重口味), we added salt and some pepper to intensify the taste and it helped a lot
🍲 Detox Samgyetang
this was my personal favv !! though still light but still flavourful 😋 i didnt had to add anyth else to it and personally the mung bean taste wasnt strong, enjoyed mine very much :>
🍲 Restorative Samgyetang
compared to the Detox one, this was comparitively lighter (broth). the taste was a lil light as well and the mushroom taste wasnt overpowering either

this was rlly yumz !! i dun rlly know how to describe this but it was gooood 😅
🍯 Honey Yuzu Tea (hot)
the drink is alright, imo taste like ur typical honey yuzu, isnt rlly special in any way. also, when we ordered this we didnt think it’ll b served hot esp since it was such a hot afternoon 😹 but alls good cuz we asked for some ice cubes to b put innit
overall, this is a place to visit for sure !! but wld i visit it again? 🤷🏻♀️ the price was a lil steep but understandable for its quality. the waiting time to get into the restaurant was soo long esp in the HOT weather 😮💨 oh yes, the restaurant do provide some refreshers while waiting, it’ll prolly help with the heat
