For those of you wondering about adding more greens, especially if you're looking for that "low carb chicken tacos lettuce" vibe, I've got some tips! My absolute favorite way to incorporate more lettuce is by using large, crisp lettuce leaves as an alternative to tortillas entirely. Think butter lettuce or large romaine hearts. They make for fantastic, crunchy wraps that add a refreshing element and extra fiber without any extra carbs. It's a game-changer if you want to go even lower carb or just love that fresh crunch! Even with the low-carb tortillas, I always load up on shredded lettuce as a topping. It adds a lovely textural contrast to the tender rotisserie chicken and keeps things light. Don't underestimate the power of a good handful of fresh, crisp lettuce in your tacos – it really brightens up the whole dish. Speaking of toppings, let's talk about the chicken. Rotisserie chicken is my secret weapon for speed. Shred it up, warm it slightly, and it's taco-ready! But what about making it even more flavorful?
