Day Two: 75 Soft Challenge
Day Two: August 12th
-75oz Water 💧
Completed it with the help of my Flo tracker. I was outside all day and ended up bringing two 16 fl oz with me everywhere I went. (Can we talk about frequent bathroom trips, though? 😂)
-7k Steps 🚶♀️
I took a long walk at Chelsea Piers. The weather was as lovely as much as the day before! The river is my favorite spot to visit.
-Portion Control 🌯
I went to place to place and didn’t get a chance to really sit and eat until I finally had made it home. I hadn’t had a Chipotle bowl in a while. I ate it with minimal phone distraction. I felt almost a little too full but there wasn’t discomfort.
-Workout 3x Week 🏋️♀️
On Tuesdays, we do legs. I went to my local planet fitness. (I honestly dislike taking photos at the gym 💀) I’m hoping to incorporate more at-home working out after I renovate my room.
-Skincare 🧖♀️
Washing my face day and night still with regular unscented bar soap. Moisturizer for day and night as well. I hope to get a consistent skin care routine.
-30 Mins Reading 📖
Could not put down this book I am reading. Shadow by Maureen A. Miller. MC has a st£lk£r that is trying to find her missing boss. “Where is Nathan Bethard?” I read before going to sleep instead of doomscrolling 💀

The 75 Soft Challenge is a holistic 75-day program focused on building healthier habits across hydration, physical activity, nutrition, skincare, and mental wellness. On Day Two, achieving the goal of 75 ounces of water intake was facilitated by the Flo tracker app, highlighting how digital tools can support consistent hydration—a critical factor for overall health, physical performance, and skin condition. Frequent bathroom visits can be a common side effect of increased water consumption, which some participants find amusing but also a sign of proper hydration. Walking 7,000 steps in an outdoor environment like Chelsea Piers combines physical exercise with the mental benefits of nature exposure. Such moderate daily physical activity aligns well with guidelines recommending at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise weekly, promoting cardiovascular health and improving mood. Portion control during meals, including mindful eating without phone distractions, enhances digestion and encourages awareness of fullness cues, preventing overeating and promoting long-term healthy weight management. Including favorite meals like a Chipotle bowl shows that flexible dieting can support sustainability in lifestyle changes. Strength training sessions, like the leg workout at Planet Fitness, undertaken three times a week, contribute to muscle development, metabolic health, and injury prevention. Overcoming gym-related discomfort by opting for at-home workouts post-room renovation demonstrates adaptability and commitment to fitness goals. A consistent skincare routine using gentle unscented bar soap and moisturizer day and night fosters skin barrier health, reducing dryness and irritation. This simple yet regular care can support skin clarity and hydration, vital for those leading active lifestyles. Replacing doomscrolling with reading a suspenseful book such as "Shadow" by Maureen A. Miller promotes mental wellness and healthy bedtime routines. Engaging with literature before sleep can improve relaxation and enhance sleep quality, essential for recovery and overall well-being. The integration of hydration, exercise, nutritious eating, skincare, and mental wellness activities encapsulates the essence of the 75 Soft Challenge, aiming for balanced improvements in body and mind. Participants are encouraged to customize these habits to fit their individual lifestyles while maintaining consistency for lasting transformation.
