Foundations BEFORE another hormone supplement

Another supplement is NOT the answer!!! ✋

It may be easy to think a supplement will be the answer to your symptoms. Nowadays, I feel the majority of people just want quick fixes, and I hate to say it but it won’t work.

& sure some “hormone balancing” supplements MIGHT help short term.

But we cannot out-supplement, out-diet or ignore the lifestyle strategies and foundations!

Shift from thinking about quick band aid solutions to long term habits that will get to the root cause of your symptoms. 🩹🙊

🌸Let’s discuss some essentials that lay the foundation for vibrant hormone health! ✨

🥑 Eat real whole food! Eat a properly prepared nutrient dense diet. Limit processed foods, alcohol, inflammatory oils, etc.

🍎 Balanced blood sugar by eating protein/carb/fat every meal and snack and by eating frequently enough! Stable blood sugar levels are crucial for balanced hormones! 🌿

😴Prioritize sleep! High quality sleep is crucial for detoxification, lowering inflammation, balanced hormones, and much more. Aim for at least 7 hours a night.

🏃‍♀️Move daily! Whether it’s a walk, yoga flow, dance party, daily movement supports circulation, metabolism, and hormone balance.

🌳 Spend Time Outdoors: Nature’s remedy for stress and overwhelm! 🌿 Step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and soak up some Vitamin D from the sun’s rays.

🌿 Support Your Gut Health: Your gut is your second brain and a key player in hormonal health. Poor gut health can negatively impact your hormones and be the reason you have hormonal symptoms in the first place!

🥩Eat enough protein. Fuel your body with the building blocks it needs. Adequate protein intake supports muscle repair, hormone production, and satiety. Opt for high-quality sources like grass-fed meats, wild-caught fish, high quality dairy, pasture raised poultry and eggs, etc. 🍃
