One thing I quickly learned is that the amount of reading and coursework is intense, which often catches me off guard each semester despite my prior experience. For anyone considering or continuing nursing education, it’s important to prepare mentally and schedule your study time effectively. I personally find setting a daily reading plan helps manage the workload better. Since "there is a LOT of reading for this course," breaking it into smaller chunks reduces stress and helps retain information. Also, connecting with classmates who understand the challenges can be really encouraging—they share tips, study resources, and moral support. Balancing school with personal life requires discipline. Finding small moments for self-care makes a big difference in sustaining motivation. Remember, feeling surprised or overwhelmed at the start of each semester is a common experience, not a failure. Embracing the journey and being proactive in managing your study habits is key to thriving as a nursing student.
