Gym split!!!

HEYYYYY my lovelies!

this is my current gym split!

(im still pretty new to strength training and im still learning as i go so please go easy on me lol)

i’ve been strength training consistently since February, and ive already seen so much progress in my strength and in my body!

I know the gym can be very intimidating, especially if you’re new, but i hope this split can help you get an idea of a routine or even help you discover new exercises you may not know. (if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask 🩷)

I understand that this may be overwhelming for some people, so take your time and gradually incorporate it into your routine. Feel free to adjust it to fit your schedule! #musclemommy

I would love to hear your gym routine or your advice so comment down below!! 🫶🏻

xoxo lyss

... Read moreWhen starting with strength training, having a solid gym split is essential for maximizing results. This beginner-friendly split encourages working different muscle groups throughout the week, ensuring balanced development and recovery. **Weekly Breakdown:** 1. **Monday - Biceps and Back:** Focus on bicep curls, hammer curls, bent-over rows. Start with 3 sets of 8 reps, adjusting weights as needed for progress. 2. **Tuesday - Legs:** Incorporate goblet squats and leg presses. Aim for 3 sets of 8 to build lower body strength. 3. **Wednesday - Abs and Cardio:** Mix crunches with treadmill intervals for endurance and core stability. 4. **Thursday - Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps:** Include variations like chest flys and military presses. 5. **Friday - Glutes:** Sumo squats and hip thrusts will effectively target the glute muscles. 6. **Rest on Sunday:** Allow your body to recover to maintain long-term performance. **Tips for Success:** Consistency is key! Schedule workouts in line with your weekly commitments, and don't hesitate to experiment with exercises you enjoy. Gradually include new exercises and listen to your body's feedback. Consulting fitness resources like TikTok or YouTube can help refine your techniques and keep you motivated. Remember, every fitness journey is unique, so set realistic goals that encourage progress without discouragement. Happy lifting!

I’m a beginner, so genuine question! Do we add weights to the ab routine? If so, how?
