Mini Baguettes 🥖😻
Hey everyone! Today i wanted to share my basic bread recipe to you all that i feel like i’ve perfected and get consistent great results with this recipe. 👩🏻🍳🫶🏼🌟 I hope you all enjoy it as this recipe has became STAMPED in my kitchen.
NTM i know these aren’t authentic “baguettes” but let’s get into it. 💪
- INGREDIENTS
- Bread Flour
- 1 packet of Instant yeast
- Kosher Salt
- water (durrr)
- Olive Oil
- some PATIENCE. ☮️
Making mini baguettes at home can be a rewarding culinary experience. Start by activating your instant yeast with warm water, a crucial step to ensure your dough will rise properly. Combine the activated yeast with the dry ingredients, creating a shaggy dough that is ideal for bread. Kneading is essential, typically taking 5-10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. After kneading, coat the dough with olive oil and cover it for the first rise in a warm environment, like an off oven with the light on. This helps the yeast work effectively. Once risen, shaping the dough is key; divide it into equal pieces and roll them into balls. After a second rise, preheat your oven to 415°F. Bake the baguettes for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Allow them to cool before serving to preserve the crust's crunchiness. With practice, anyone can master the art of making fresh mini baguettes.
