🍞 Bread Pudding Base
Ingredients:
* 4–5 cups day-old bread (cubed)
* 2 ripe bananas (for inside, sliced or mashed)
* 2 cups milk (or half & half)
* ½ cup heavy cream
* ¾ cup sugar
* 3 eggs
* 1 tbsp vanilla extract
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
* Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease baking dish
2. Add bread cubes to dish
3. Whisk milk, cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and spices
4. Pour over bread and gently press to soak
5. Let sit 10–15 minutes so bread absorbs custard
6. Add bananas into the mixture

🍌 Caramelized Banana Topping
Ingredients:
* 2–3 bananas (sliced longways)
* ¼ cup brown sugar
* 2 tbsp butter
Instructions:
1. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat
2. Add brown sugar and stir until melted
3. Place banana slices cut-side down and cook until caramelized
4. Carefully place bananas on top of bread pudding
