Creamy taco shrimp 🌮
👩🏻 Home Recipe 🍳
Ingredient’s:
2lbs shrimp
1/2 cup milk
1 can tomato paste
Pour taco seasoning with heart 🤏
I mixed all the ingredients together in a bowl, then cooked it on a pan until the shrimp was fully cooked 🦐
It was good on a taco! Also tasty on a tortilla than toasted on a pan
If you enjoy seafood and are looking for a quick yet delicious meal, this creamy taco shrimp recipe is a perfect choice. I've found that using fresh shrimp makes a big difference in flavor, and the combination of tomato paste with taco seasoning creates a rich, savory sauce that complements the natural sweetness of shrimp beautifully. To make the recipe even more flavorful, consider adding diced onions and garlic when cooking the shrimp, which adds depth and aroma. Also, cooking the shrimp just until opaque keeps them tender and juicy, preventing them from becoming rubbery. For creamier texture, some people substitute milk with heavy cream or add a little sour cream after cooking. Enjoying these shrimp in a soft tortilla, lightly toasted on a pan, adds a pleasant crunch and warmth that enhances the eating experience. You can add fresh toppings like chopped cilantro, diced avocado, or a squeeze of lime for extra freshness and contrast. This dish is not only quick to prepare, but also packed with protein and nutrition, making it a wholesome meal option. In my experience, this recipe is versatile — it can be served over rice or salad greens if you want a low-carb option. Plus, the taco seasoning can be adjusted based on your spice preference, so you can keep it mild or add an extra kick. It’s a great dish for weekday dinners or casual gatherings, combining easy preparation with delicious taste.
