Sugar cookie frosting!
This frosting is great for decorating! Feel free to use sprinkles and food coloring to have unique cookies!
What you will need:
Large bowl
Hand mixer
3 TBSP Butter, softened
3 TBSP Vegetable Shortening
4 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1/2 Cup Whole Milk (calls for whole milk but i use almond)
1/2 TSP Vanilla extract
1/4 TSP Almond extract
Mix butter, shortening, milk, vanilla and almond extract. Add in powdered sugar a little at a time mixing on the lowest speed with the hand mixer. This part can get a little powder everywhere. Mix with mixer until creamy and no lumps are there. Wait until cookies are dry and dip your cookies in or pipe the frosting in a bag!
