What You Need:
Cookie Bars:
• 1 cup unsalted butter, room temp
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp almond extract
• 4¾ cups flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
Frosting:
• ½ cup butter, room temp
• 8 oz cream cheese, room temp
• 4–5 cups powdered sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 13×18" sheet pan (or halve for 9×13").
2. Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla & almond extract.
3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda & salt. Add to wet ingredients.
4. Press dough into pan. Bake 12–16 mins, until set & edges slightly golden. Cool.
5. For frosting: Beat butter & cream cheese. Add vanilla & powdered sugar until smooth.
6. Frost cooled bars, cut into squares.
