Foods we ate at Disneyland 😋
Hey everyone! So, you know how much I love a good food quest, right? And lately, I've been seeing whispers online about something called a 'jello castle' at Disneyland. My last trip was all about finding out if this magical, jiggly treat actually exists! While I couldn't find an official 'Jello Castle' on the menu – which was a bit of a surprise, to be honest – I definitely found some castle-worthy treats that were an absolute 'TREAT YOURSELF!' moment. It felt like a truly special day, the kind you cherish all year. First up, let's talk about the iconic churros. You have to get one! Warm, cinnamony, and perfectly sweet – it's a classic for a reason. But I also discovered some amazing seasonal churro flavors near Sleeping Beauty Castle that were so vibrant, they almost looked like edible mini castles themselves! Imagine pastel pinks and blues, just like a whimsical kingdom. These limited-time offerings are always a highlight and make it feel like the 'BEST DAY OF THE YEAR!' every time I visit. Then there's the Dole Whip. Oh my goodness, the Dole Whip! It’s a creamy, pineapple perfection that feels like a little escape to Adventureland. While not a 'jello castle,' its vibrant yellow color and refreshing taste are truly magical. I always make sure to grab one, maybe even a Dole Whip Float if I'm feeling extra indulgent. It's another perfect 'TREAT YOURSELF!' moment, especially on a warm day when you need something cooling and delicious. I also explored some of the more unique desserts. Have you tried the Matterhorn Macaroon? It's shaped like the Matterhorn Bobsleds attraction and topped with coconut 'snow.' So cute and delicious! And speaking of castle-themed, many of the bakeries on Main Street, U.S.A., often have beautifully decorated cupcakes and pastries that are miniature works of art. Some even resemble the castle itself with frosting turrets and sparkling edible glitter. These are the closest I got to a 'jello castle' in terms of visual appeal – colorful, fun, and totally enchanting. I actually saw a few that had jelly-like toppings or fruit fillings that gave them a similar translucent, jiggly look, which was really cool! Beyond standalone treats, don't forget about some of the fun quick-service meals. Sometimes, you can find special themed desserts at places like Red Rose Taverne or Alien Pizza Planet that might incorporate colorful elements, reminiscent of what a 'jello castle' might look like. It's all about keeping an eye out for those seasonal surprises! I always think of it as spending a day just to 'TREAT OURSELVES TO?' new flavors and experiences. For those of you also on the hunt for a 'jello castle,' I think it might be more of a whimsical dream, a fan-made creation, or perhaps a very rare, limited-time offering I missed. But don't despair! Disneyland is packed with so many incredible, photograph-worthy treats that will absolutely make you feel like royalty. From the vibrant churros to the delightful cupcakes, and even the refreshing mimosas (if you're at a character breakfast!), every bite is an adventure. So next time you're there, remember to truly 'TREAT YOURSELF!' to all the deliciousness. What are your favorite Disneyland treats?
