Honey garlic fried tofu

I looooooooove tofu

So when I want something quick, easy, and filling, this is what I usually make with my tofu. Every once in a while I’ll spice it up but today my kids were eating it so I kept it non-spicy. Lol

You’re gonna wanna get extra firm tofu

Then you’re going to pat out all the water and try to get it as dry as you can while it’s drying more make your sauce

You’ll gonna need :

-HONEY

-GARLIC

-SOY SAUCE

-BROWN SUGAR

Cook the Garlic with oil until it’s aromatic and then throw in the Soy Sauce, Brown Sugar, and Honey I usually add a little bit of Hot Water as well, Simmer it until it gets thick and don’t worry if it’s not thick in the pan when it cools it gets thick..

Then in a bowl add :

-CORNSTARCH

-ONION POWDER

-GARLIC POWDER

-SALT & PEPPER

Mix it and then coat your tofu then drop it in your pan of oil to fry it

Once it’s all cooked, let it cool down just a little bit.

Add your sauce and fried tofu in a bowl.

Mix it up.

Place over whatever you want or just eat it like this.

I like rice with kimchi on the side and then I top it off with green onions and sesame seeds.
