Chicken drumsticks with potatoes in green sauce.

Ingredients in this video:

7 Chicken drumsticks

8 green tomatoes

4 serranos

~ 1/4 of a small onion

1 garlic clove

Pinch of cilantro

2 really big potatoes or ~4-5 small ones

Water

Salt

Steps:

•In a hot pan add some oil.

•Place chicken in pan & add salt. (Flip occasionally)

•Cover and cook on medium slow heat (this will get all the juices out the chicken)

•While chicken is cooking prepare salsa

•Add tomatoes and serranos on a pan. Cook the tomatoes until they’re light green and serranos are soft & have a nice char.

• Once tomatoes and Serranos are done add to blender along with onion, garlic, cilantro, 1 cup of water and salt to taste. DONT OVER-SALT YOUR CHICKEN ALREADY HAS SALT. Blend until there’s no more chunks.

• Once chicken has let out some broth throw in the potatoes and salsa. (Medium low heat still)

• Once it’s at a roaring boil check a potato if its fork tender turn stove off.

•Enjoy your delicious meal!!!

• Una vez que los tomates y los serranos estén listos agrégalos a la licuadora junto con la cebolla, el ajo, el cilantro, 1 taza de agua y sal al gusto. NO SALES DEMASIADO TU POLLO YA TIENE SAL. Licúa hasta que no queden más trozos.

• Una vez que el pollo haya soltado un poco de caldo agrega las papas y la salsa. (A fuego medio bajo)

• Una vez que hierva a fuego fuerte, revise la papa; si está tierna, apague el fuego.
