So You wanna have surgery???

Tips you should consider for a smooth and fulfilling surgery experience:

-Picking a doctor that knows how to work well on your body type. If you a heavier doll don’t go a doctor that works best on smaller dolls. Find a doctor with consistent results that you like for your body type.

-Post Op care is more than just Lymphatic Drainage Massages. That’s actually only a very small part. Your therapist should also be trained in POST OP technique and care. Liposuction is a very aggressive procedure and MLD is not enough alone for Lipo aftercare. Also find someone with medical training/background. Wound care/ spotting infection/ standard precaution, the handling of bodily fluids etc are a big part of aftercare that your therapist should have knowledge of. Even if just the basics!

-Do thorough research on these clinics because I see a lot of dolls circulating through the chop shops and coming home with serious infections, burns, extremely uneven lipo, or minimal lipo. A lot of this can be avoided by doing through research. Nothing is worse then spending your money and coming home and not being satisfied with your results or having multiple medical issues caused by your cosmetic procedure.

-Do not come home and immediately get back yo your regular scheduled life! Allow yourself time to rest! Surgery is traumatic to the body and your body needs rest to heal! Have your support system and any other things to bring ease into your life situated before you get back home.

-Those $60 zip up girdles from Amazon are just not going to cut it hun. You want good and even compression not to be comfortable. Invest in your faja. And then invest in getting it altered to fit you better. Just don’t go the cheap route because you don’t want foams and fajas and boards that’s falling apart after a week of use.

Hope this helps a doll in need out there! Be safe and smart embarking on this surgery journey.

After surgery, post-operative care extends beyond lymphatic drainage massages; medical training in wound care and infection awareness is essential. Many people suffer adverse effects from inadequate post-op care, so thorough research on clinics is crucial. Take ample time to recover; rushing back to your routine can hinder healing. Lastly, invest in quality post-operative garments, as proper compression aids in recovery. Make informed choices and prioritize your wellbeing throughout your surgical journey. Stay updated with trending topics in cosmetic surgery and the importance of recovery techniques. Engaging with communities and forums can provide peer support, while professional guidance ensures you are adequately covered through your post-operative care phase. Knowledge is power—ensure you explore beyond surface-level information and arm yourself with the best resources available.
