Apple cider donut holes🍎🍁

Ingredients:

— 2 cups apple cider (reduced to 1/2 cup)

— 2 tbs buttter

— 2 cups flour

— 2 tsp baking soda

— 2 tsp baking powder

— 1 cup packed light brown sugar

— 1 tsp cinnamon

— 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

— 2 eggs

— 1/2 c apple sauce

— 1 tsp vanilla

To coat:

— 4 tbs melted butter

— small bowl of sugar with a generous pinch of cinnamon

How-to:

1. To start, add 2 cups of apple cider to a small butterr medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce, the heat a bit, and leave on a low boil for about 20 minutes until it’s reduced to 1/2 of a cup.

2. Once reduced, add 2 tbs of butter to the apple cider to melt and set aside to cool for a few minutes.

3. Add all of the dry ingredients (flour, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice) to a bowl and whisk together.

4. Add apple cider vinegar & butter, eggs, apple sauce, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.

5. Spray a mini muffin tin and fill about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way full.

6. Bake for 12-14 minutes at 350˚.

7. After baking, let cool for about 10 minutes. Dip them in melted butter and then roll in cinnamon sugar.
