my fiance and i started the animal based diet and we are loving it (which is wild because i was never a big meat eater). we snack a lot less because these high fat/high protein meals keep us sooo full. sometimes we only eat twice a day. i did get a masters’ in nutrition and understand the importance of a balanced diet. we make sure to eat lots of nutrient dense fruits and high quality foods!
i also do not eat off a cutting board. i know that’s a huge trend with animal based, but i will not be doing that.
we are not 100% strict and believe in 80/20. we do occasionally eat a sweet treat, eat a hashbrown, or drink a Swig.. because I refuse to give them up completely.
