Things I read this week that just made sense 🫶

2025/5/11 Edited to

... Read moreI'm so excited to share some deeper thoughts on the incredible insights I’ve been reading lately. It's truly been an "inner glow up era" for me, focusing on self-care, self-love, and self-knowledge, which are all crucial steps to becoming the most interesting woman in any room. These aren't just pretty words; they're actionable ideas that have helped me clean up my life, habits, and beliefs, prioritizing things that genuinely make me feel good. One of the biggest takeaways has been exploring the "6 Laws of Maturity." For me, this means consciously choosing friends wisely, surrounding myself with people who uplift and inspire. It also involves learning to expect nothing, which liberates me from disappointment and allows me to appreciate everything more. Doing my best in every situation, regardless of the outcome, and constantly working on controlling myself – my reactions, my impulses – has been transformative. It’s a continuous journey, but these principles truly make a difference in fostering personal growth. Then there are the "DAILY REMINDER" messages that resonate deeply. Cultivating gratitude, maintaining positivity, and demonstrating perseverance, even when things don't go as planned, are non-negotiable for my well-being. I find myself in an era of letting go of what no longer serves me, accepting change with an open heart, and creating new, meaningful relationships. It's about speaking my truth kindly but firmly, and consistently practicing self-love – a practice that often gets overlooked but is so vital. It’s a continuous "letter to myself" to always prioritize my goals and celebrate every small victory. These reads have also highlighted the profound "mind-body connection" and the importance of healing. Letting go of past hurts, understanding my self-worth, and embracing self-love are not just abstract concepts; they are daily practices. There’s a past version of me that is undoubtedly so proud of how far I have come, and these daily reminders help me acknowledge that progress. It's about building a life of abundance, peace, and tenderness, trusting in a higher power and in my own capacity to grow. Every step forward, every small shift in perspective, contributes to this beautiful journey of becoming.
