✨YOU LOOK HAPPIER: GOVERNMENT WORK EDITION ✨
You look happier…. Thanks I am! 😌
Changing jobs has been the most rewarding decision of my life.
My previous career was a mortgage loan officer and it was just not for me! Three years ago I quit that job and I have never looked back!
I find my job in the county recorders office is just as rewarding, but it’s also the perfect work/life balance for me!
Since I started working as a land tech I have been able to progress in my work and what my job is but also able to work towards goals in my personal life that I wouldn’t have been able to do if I was still in a demanding job.
Sometimes it’s not about the job title and more about how you feel and I know I made the right decision taking a different job 3 years ago!

Career change is a significant decision that can profoundly impact personal happiness and work-life balance. Many professionals consider switching from high-pressure private sector jobs to government roles for stability, benefits, and a meaningful contribution to the community. Government jobs, such as those in county recorders' offices or land technology, often provide a structured environment with predictable hours, allowing employees to invest time in personal development and family life. In addition to enhanced work-life balance, government roles typically offer opportunities for career progression and skill development in specialized fields. For example, working as a land technician involves managing property records, legal documents, and public information, which requires attention to detail and offers professional growth pathways. This can be more rewarding for individuals seeking meaningful work beyond just a job title. Research shows that job satisfaction correlates strongly with the alignment of personal values and workplace culture. Switching from a mortgage loan officer, a role with high stress and sales targets, to a government position can reduce burnout and improve mental health. Moreover, job security and benefits provided in public service positions can contribute to overall life satisfaction. If considering a career change, it is beneficial to weigh factors such as personal interests, financial needs, growth opportunities, and work environment. Government jobs are often undervalued but can provide a fulfilling career with a positive impact on well-being. Embracing the right job for your lifestyle is a vital step toward long-term happiness and professional success.

I would love to have a window office! And a land tech has always sounded interesting to me I would love to see more of your posts about it in the future. Thanks for sharing 🥰
