Creamy Cajun Chicken Alfredo with Fettuccine Pasta

Ingredients:

2 chicken breasts, sliced

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

12 oz (340g) fettuccine pasta

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup (240ml) heavy cream

1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped parsley for garnish

Directions:

Cook fettuccine pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chicken until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Melt butter in the skillet. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Add Parmesan cheese and stir until creamy.

Return chicken and pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat.

Serve with parsley sprinkled on top.

Notes:

Can be made with shrimp or turkey instead of chicken for variety.
