If you have PTSD...
The world felt shattered. Every car backfire, every yell in the street, sent me spiraling. Then came therapy. It wasn't easy. Talking about the trauma was like reliving it, but my therapist was a steady hand, guiding me through the muck. We peeled back the layers of fear and guilt, replacing them with understanding and self-compassion.
I also want to hear from people, to hear their opinion on the topic of what their pain is and how they overcome the disorder. I believe that a person's personal experience is much more important than what is written in a book

PTSD is so hard bc most people don’t realize how common it actually is and how many people around them actually have it. something as simple as a yelling can send me into a spiral. All i do in those moments is just try and focus on breathing and i curl up, realistically i should see a therapist but haven’t gone
