A report from Paris with the announcement of the Michelin Key Award, or Michelin Key - an award given to hotels and accommodations around the world. It's easy to understand that it's like a "star" given to a delicious restaurant.
This year, the awards show was held on October 8 at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, with a total of 2,457 Michelin Inspectors selected hotels spread across all continents of the world, including in Thailand, where 62 hotels received keys - and 18 in Bangkok.
Like the star system for the restaurant, Michelin Key ranks 3 key levels:
- - 🗝 1 key for a hotel that offers a special experience.
- - 🗝🗝 2 keys for a hotel that offers a great experience.
- 🗝🗝🗝 3 keys for a hotel that offers the perfect experience in every dimension and a memorable destination.
For Bangkok hotels that received three Michelin keys this year:
✨ Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, a legendary hotel that will celebrate its 150th anniversary next year; and
✨ The Siam, a prominent Chao Phraya riverfront hotel with a unique art deco design.
There are also hotels in Bangkok that receive two Michelin keys, eight hotels and
One Michelin key. Eight more hotels.
: Counted nationwide, there are 62 hotels in Thailand that received Michelin keys this year.
Bangkok hotels that have received 2 Michelin keys include Capella, Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, Rosewood, The Okura Prestige, The Peninsula, The Sukhothai, and Aman Nai Lert.
