On Day 1, I embraced a structured fitness routine while keeping track of my caloric intake, which was approximately 1,374.5 kcal. My meals were balanced, focusing on high protein sources such as eggs, chicken, and protein supplements. Maintaining a nutritious diet while managing insulin resistance is essential. My diet included a combination of lean proteins, healthy fats, and fiber-rich vegetables. Foods like broccoli and peppers not only provide essential vitamins but also help regulate blood sugar levels. It's vital to incorporate snacks that support energy levels and muscle recovery; for instance, and the addition of collagen peptides in my smoothie supports skin elasticity and joints. As I continue this journey, I plan to share more about my experiences with GLP-1 medications like Zepbound and Tirzepatide, which are helping many navigate their weight loss goals safely. Engaging with communities that focus on insulin resistance and nutrition, such as #glp1life and #insulinresistance, can offer support and valuable resources.
