EASY SEASON - BEEF KOFTA
So simple you can’t not make it!!
As someone who loves quick and tasty meals, making beef kofta at home has become one of my favorite go-to recipes. The beauty of this dish lies in the blend of spices like paprika, ground cumin, and coriander—which brings out an irresistible smoky flavor. Adding fresh parsley and garlic enhances the aroma and freshness, making each bite savory and satisfying. One tip I've learned for the best kofta texture is to mix the ingredients gently but thoroughly by hand, ensuring the spices and herbs are evenly distributed throughout the minced beef. When shaping the kofta into small oval patties, making them about the size of your thumb allows them to cook evenly and quickly. Grilling is my preferred cooking method because it gives the kofta a delicious charred exterior, but pan-frying works just as well—especially if you don’t have access to a BBQ. Just heat some olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook until browned on each side and completely cooked through. To serve, I love pairing the kofta with a refreshing Greek salad and a dollop of tzatziki sauce, plus a good squeeze of lemon juice. This combination not only balances the smoky meat flavors but also adds a cool, creamy contrast that elevates the dish. This recipe is perfect for busy weeknights or when you want to impress friends with a simple yet flavorful meal. Plus, it's customizable—you can easily swap the beef for lamb or add your favorite herbs. Give it a try, and you’ll find it’s so simple you can’t not make it!
