Starting Fall early with Butternut Squash Chili 🍂

Just 5 ingredients and so quick to throw together, so you can be cozy without spending all day in the kitchen. 🥣🍁

Ingredients:

• 1 lb ground turkey

• 1 (20-24 oz) bag frozen cubed butternut squash

• 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes (undrained)

• 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed

• 2 cups chicken broth

Pantry Staples:

Olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper

Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a large pot. Add ground turkey; cook 5-7 minutes until browned, breaking into crumbles.

2. Stir in butternut squash, diced tomatoes, black beans, and broth.

3. Add 1-2 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir well.

4.Bring mixture to a simmer; reduce heat and cook 20-25 minutes until squash is fork-tender.

5. Mash a few squash cubes against the pot side to thicken. Adjust seasoning to taste.
