Ingredients:
• 6 Chicken leg quarters
• Avocado oil
• 1/2 tsp of oregano, cumin, dried thyme, coriander, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper
• 1 tsp of paprika, Cajun seasoning Salt.
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F
2. Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
3. Drizzle the chicken legs with avocado oil, then season with all the seasonings listed above, previously mixed. Make sure both sides of the chicken legs are evenly coated.
4. Place the seasoned chicken on a baking sheet and cover with aluminum foil. Let it marinate for 20-30 minutes if you can.
5. Place the chicken in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes or until they’re golden brown and internal temperature reaches -65°F. NOTE: After 25-30 minutes of cooking, remove baking sheet from the oven and base the top of the chicken legs with the juices at the bottom of the sheet released during the baking time. Add the chicken back to the oven and repeat this process every few minutes, at least 3 times.
6. Once the chicken legs are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes to allow the juices redistribute throughout the meat, making them juicier and more flavorful.
7. Serve with your favorite side, and enjoy!🤌🏻

Oven-baked chicken is a favorite for many families due to its ease of preparation and delicious outcome. To enhance the flavor, consider marinating the chicken in a mixture of spices such as paprika, cumin, and oregano for at least 30 minutes prior to baking. This not only adds more flavor but also tenderizes the meat, making it juicier. Baking at the right temperature, around 400°F, is crucial for achieving a crispy outer layer while ensuring the inside remains moist. Another tip is to use a probe thermometer to check the internal temperature; it should read at least 165°F for safe consumption. Moreover, pairing your juicy chicken with sides like roasted vegetables or fluffy mashed potatoes can turn a simple meal into a feast. You can also create a delicious gravy from the drippings during the last phase of baking. This chicken recipe is not just easy and quick; it's versatile, making it suitable for a busy weeknight meal or a family gathering. Serve it with a fresh salad or some rice to complete your meal. Enjoy the delightful flavors and the satisfaction of a well-cooked dish!
