Stir-fried Mustard Greens

Ingredients:

* 4 stems of mustard greens

* 6 ounces of thinly sliced beef flap meat

* 2 strips of bacon

* 6 cloves of garlic

Stir-fry sauce ingredients:

* 1 teaspoon of black pepper

* 1 teaspoon of cornstarch

* 2 teaspoons of sugar

* 2 teaspoons of fish sauce

* 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce

* 2 tablespoons of warm water

Cooking Instructions:

1. Blanch the mustard greens for approximately one minute.

2. In a skillet, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Cook the bacon until golden brown. Add the chopped garlic and cook until fragrant.

3. Add the beef flap meat to the skillet and toss it a few times.

4. Pour the stir-fry sauce over the beef and mustard greens. Toss everything together a few times.

5. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.

6. Serve the stir-fried mustard greens with steamed rice.

Roasted red pepper dahl
This vegan roasted red pepper dahl is my take on a traditional dahl. It is in no means authentic but it is delicious. The red pepper adds the most rich flavor to this dahl, and it makes the meal feel summery. I highly recommend using whole versus ground spices because they really bump up the flavor
