Ground Beef Stir Fry

Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 zucchini, sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional for thickening)

Cooked white rice, for serving

Green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish

Directions:

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onions and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.

Stir in bell pepper and zucchini, and cook for another 3–4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix well to combine all the flavors.

If a thicker sauce is desired, stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer for 1–2 minutes until thickened.

Serve hot over rice, topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
