* 1 tsp Better Than Bouillon Roasted Chicken Base
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
* 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
* Extra Parmesan and black pepper, for serving (optional)
Method
1. Slice the top off 1 head of garlic, drizzle with 1 tsp olive oil, wrap in foil, and air fry at 390°F for 20–25 minutes until soft and golden. Let cool slightly, then squeeze out the cloves.

This Roasted Garlic Protein Shrimp Alfredo is a fantastic way to enjoy a protein-packed meal without compromising on flavor. Using protein-enriched pasta significantly boosts the dish’s nutritional value, providing around 56 grams of protein per serving, which is ideal for those focused on muscle maintenance, weight management, or simply seeking a high-protein diet. One of the highlights of this recipe is the roasted garlic, which adds a deep, mellow aroma and sweetness that cannot be replicated by regular minced garlic alone. Roasting the garlic heads softens their sharpness and brings out a caramelized flavor that complements the richness of the Alfredo sauce beautifully. Another helpful tip is to use Sazón and adobo seasoning for the shrimp. These seasonings introduce a Latin-inspired flavor that elevates the shrimp’s taste and balances the creaminess of the sauce. Together with freshly grated Parmesan and fresh parsley, the dish offers a well-rounded flavor profile that’s light, creamy, and vibrant. For those watching their sodium intake, consider adjusting the salt and seasoning amounts or using low-sodium chicken broth to better suit your dietary needs without sacrificing taste. Using an air fryer to roast the garlic is an efficient way to achieve that perfect golden softness quickly. If you don’t have an air fryer, roasting the garlic in the oven at 400°F for about 30–35 minutes wrapped in foil will yield similar results. In terms of serving, this meal pairs excellently with a side of steamed or roasted vegetables like broccoli, asparagus, or spinach for added fiber and micronutrients. It also reheats well, making it a great option for meal prepping lunches or dinners. Overall, this recipe is a delicious and convenient way to meet protein goals and indulge in comfort food with a nutritious twist. Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or simply looking to try a flavorful seafood pasta dish, this shrimp Alfredo offers the best of both worlds.
