And because I’m so happy to be here I’ve come with a new recipe and post format! This pasta was sooo good, cheesy and super easy! I think taking pictures of the steps was a game changer and will help you guys follow along better!💓
For my detailed step-by-step girlies read below!☀️
****************
Ingredients:
Your choice of protein( I used shrimp and Steak)
Penne Noodles (only 1 is needed)
Heavy Cream
Jerk Paste
Jerk Seasoning
Shredded Mozarella
Shredded Parmesan or (Shredded Swiss and Gruyère from Aldis)
Three bell peppers(red, green, yellow) only used half of each one.
Tony’s Cajun Seasoning
Onion Powder
Let’s get Started!
Start by grabbing your meats and chopping them to your desired size(I chopped mine down to about 1/2 inch pieces).
Next is your bell peppers but you’re going to slice these instead. Slice off the bottom and top caps of the bell peppers, pull out the core then rinse out the remaining seeds. Next cut the pepper in have vertically then continue to cut vertically from one end to the other until all your peppers are cut.
Go ahead and put your meats in separate bowls to season with your Jerk Paste, Jerk Seasoning, Onion Powder, Chili pepper, Tony’s Cajun Seasoning.
While your meats are marinating go ahead and pull out a skillet and sauté your sliced bell peppers with garlic powder, butter and a little water to soften them.
Pull out a big pot and start your boiling water.
After your bell peppers are at its desired softness go ahead and remove your sautéed peppers and put them to the side. Now add your meat to the same pan and sauté until fully cooked.
Your water should be boiling now so go ahead and pour in your Penne noodles.
In a medium Sauce Pan you’re going to combine darn near your entire quart of Heavy Cream, Mozarella, I also used a special Swiss and Gruyère cheese I got from Aldis but you could use shredded Parmesan as well! Add a spoon of Jerk pasta and season with Jerk seasoning and Seasoned Salt.
Let your sauce come to a simmer to make sure your cheese and perfectly melted and mixed in.
Bring back your meats and peppers and combine these including your sauce into your cooked pasta!!
And boom Ladies! Homemade Rasta Pasta!🔥🇯🇲💓 Please if you end up giving this recipe a try or plan to, let me know! I support all the gurls 😝😚
