Did some laps today 🏊♀️ (198.4lbs & counting down). . .Let's Gooo!✨️
I also did my own aquatic exercises I learned previously in physical therapy. I attended the aquatics class for a little bit and did some more exercising there too. 🤽♀️ And of course, I also enjoyed the jacuzzi plenty of times while I was there to relieve the inflammation and relax. 😌
📝 Next Goal - 180lbs 💪🏻 #gratefulheart #justkeepgoing
Incorporating aquatic exercises into your fitness routine can be a refreshing and effective way to support weight loss and overall wellness. From my personal experience, swimming laps not only helps burn calories but also builds endurance without putting stress on the joints. This makes it an excellent option for anyone recovering from injuries or with joint concerns. Additionally, aquatic therapy exercises learned during physical therapy sessions are tailored to improve strength, balance, and flexibility while minimizing impact. Joining an aquatics class can provide extra motivation, expert guidance, and a social environment that keeps you accountable. One of my favorite parts of this regimen is spending time in the jacuzzi. The warm water helps reduce inflammation, soothe sore muscles, and promote relaxation—key factors to maintaining consistency and recovering well after workouts. Setting specific, achievable goals such as my next target weight of 180 lbs keeps me focused and positive. Along the way, I’ve found that sharing progress with supportive communities using hashtags like #gratefulheart and #justkeepgoing makes the journey more encouraging and inspiring. If you’re considering starting aquatic exercises, ensure to consult with healthcare professionals to design a routine suitable for your health status and goals. Combining swimming, water-based workouts, and recovery techniques like jacuzzi sessions can be a holistic approach to improving fitness and mental well-being.
