Day 85/131 COMPLETED {8.19.25}

Yesterday I only did one round of my main workout and did not do the mini stepper. However I do get my warmup done plus my steps and calories goal completed plus some and my water intake!

Aunt Flo visited late Monday night so this week will be a tired struggle of a week but I will still be showing up for myself no matter what!

As soon as I have the energy I will go back to aiming for 3 rounds. However until then, I’m aiming for just doing my main workout, steps, and calorie goals. I will also keep up with my daily commitments!

Getting my daily chores done first thing in the morning while my daughter is eating or brushing her teeth has helped a lot. Because she does depend a lot on me to help her with her daily life I do struggle sometimes with my daily commitments but luckily, my daughter (who has severe autism) is just functional enough I can do my daily chores (make bed, empty bins, dishes-load/unload, laundry-usually start a load and take out whatever is in the dryer and put it in my room to fold after pickup, wipe down the stove top- hubby uses it in the morning, wipe down counters, and take 1 minute to myself).

On Day 85, it is crucial to recognize the importance of consistency over perfection. Even when energy is low—such as during menstruation or caregiving demands—adapting your workout goals can maintain progress without burnout. Prioritizing key activities like your main workout, daily steps, and hydration helps sustain momentum while honoring your body's needs. Incorporating daily chores alongside caregiving responsibilities offers a practical way to stay active and productive. For caregivers of children with special needs, such as autism, time management and self-care are essential to avoid burnout. Carving out small personal moments, even one minute of mindfulness, supports emotional well-being and replenishes resilience. Tracking tools such as Fitbit provide valuable data, showing steps taken, calories burned, heart rate zones, and sleep quality. A sleep score of 91 with 8 hours of rest indicates good recovery, which is vital for performance and motivation throughout the challenge. Calories consumed and energy expenditure balance help guide dietary decisions to fuel sustained activity. This stage of a self-love journey not only reflects physical endurance but also emotional accountability—showing up for yourself despite challenges. By sharing progress openly with hashtags like #almostvacation, #90daychallenge, and #selflovejourney, community support and inspiration grow, benefiting both the poster and followers facing similar journeys.
